Build A School
In rural Uganda, education remains out of reach for many children. An estimated 2 million children are not enrolled in any school, and 5 million attend classes in temporary structures, such as shacks, that lack safety and resources. These conditions trap children in a cycle of poverty, limiting their opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
Why It Matters
- Equip children with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
- Foster Christian values to guide moral and ethical growth.
- Create a space where children can dream big and achieve their potential.
Our Vision
Our initiative focuses on constructing a school designed to serve 600+ children in a rural Ugandan community. Key features of the school include:
- Durable Infrastructure: Classrooms, libraries, and facilities built to withstand time and weather, surpassing minimum government standards.
- Safe Learning Environment: Spacious, well-lit rooms with proper ventilation and furniture to support learning.
- Holistic Support: Programs to provide school supplies, uniforms, and sponsorship opportunities to ensure every child can attend.
- Community Hub: A space for community engagement, teacher training, and parental involvement to strengthen local support for education.
Project Goals
- Provide Access: Enroll children who are currently out of school, giving them a chance to learn.
- Enhance Quality: Deliver a curriculum that emphasizes academic excellence and critical thinking.
- Sustain Impact: Build a school that serves generations, creating lasting change in the community.
